Protecting Australian Affiliates Interests

For too long the rights of affiliates have been at the mercy of online marketing networks. Retroactively changed contracts, unethical cross marketing, shaving stats and many other dodgy practices are riff within the internet affiliate industry. Essentially, affiliates can only hope the marketing networks they partner with conduct honest business practices.

The Australian Webmasters Affiliates Association (AWAA) is bound by its belief all affiliates have rights to fair contractual terms, honest ethics and fair treatment by affiliate programs and their marketing networks. To maintain its autonomous core values and full transparency the AWAA holds no contra deals with affiliate programs &/or marketing industry entities which may cause a conflict of interest.

To maintain a high level of operational service to its members, the AWAA may consider sponsorship from ethical affiliate programs. Before accepting any sponsorship, each online marketing network is scrutinised and audited against our Fair Practices Policy, with ongoing monitoring diligently maintained. Any sponsor breaching policy is immediately suspended until the breach is rectified.

The AWAA will always stand steadfast on its mandatory actions. These foundations will force transparency and preserve accountability, ensuring a fair go for all Australian affiliates.

Our objectives are simple. Give affiliate webmasters a voice to truly be heard. Make a combined stance to stamp out unethical treatment and encourage honest practices from the online marketing industry.

If protecting your future income is important to you, please consider joining the Australian Webmasters Affiliates Association. Help us take a vigilant stance against unethical marketing network programs.

Affiliate Marketing Warning
AWAA issues a warning to all online gaming affiliates partnering with Rewards Affiliates who promote venues owned by Casino Rewards Group. In March 2011 it was discovered players were being crossed marketed to void of their referring affiliate Btag. Players are contacted within hours of signing-up, with numerous emails (spammed) and encouraged to join other casinos within Casino Rewards Group.
